Welcome to Your Learning and Innovation Hub

For people with experience and vision – who get started today and shape tomorrow.

More and more people over 50 are using this phase of life to bring new meaningful ideas to life, launch passion projects, get involved in volunteering, or start their own business. In fact, one in four founders is 50+ when taking the leap into self-employment.

Our learning and innovation hub includes:

  • cohorts of 12-15 participants
  • a larger community of like-minded people
  • a blended learning program on “innovation and entrepreneurship”
  • a practice-oriented curriculum with a structured and hands-on learning experience
  • support to get you started or advanced in your project or venture
  • official certificate of completion

The program is aimed at individuals aged 50+ who find themselves in one of these roles:

  • You have an idea? You have a clear or emerging idea and are looking for tools, structure and inspiration to turn it into reality.
  • You are a committed co-creator? You are eager to apply your experience and skills to a meaningful project, without a specific idea of your own, and would like to collaborate in a team.
  • You are already underway? You are actively working on a project and are looking for new input, exchange with others, and support for your next step.

How the blended learning program works

Blended learning combines flexible, self-paced online learning via an e-learning platform with in-person workshops and live video sessions for collaboration and feedback. You can work on your own project idea or join forces with others – supported by experienced innovation coaches.

  • Individual interview to understand your background, interests and needs
  • Kick-off event with your cohort on site in Zurich
  • 6 e-learning modules with proven methods in Innovation & Entrepreneurship
  • Apply what you have learned and the methods directly to a real project.
    You choose your approach:
    • Work independently on your own idea
    • Team up with others in the program
    • Bring in outside support if you wish
  • Regular video calls for guidance and exchange
  • Personalized feedback from experienced innovation experts
  • Final workshop on site in Zurich

In Collaboration With

Behind the blended learning program: How it was developed

To ensure the content truly reflects the interests and realities of people over 50, we follow a co-development approach: the program has been created in close collaboration with participants who actively contribute their experiences and perspectives.

  • Pilot study 1 – Design Thinking in practice: An initial group of learners completed a Design Thinking course and applied the methods directly to their own projects. Their feedback played a key role in shaping the blended learning program concept.
  • Interactive workshops: In regular sessions, we discussed content, methods and formats together. The commitment and expertise of our 50+ contributors have been central for the content development.
