Refinding Eden: Talk by Prof. Nancy Pachana
Within the strategic partnership between the University of Zurich and the University of Queenland (Australia), we are initiating a series of online lectures for senior citizens on various contemporary topics. Both universities are members of the global network of Age Friendly Universities, and are collaborating to build stimulating educational offers for senior citizens.
The first lecture was held on the 11th of July 2023 by Prof. Nancy Pachana, who is a renowned clinical geropsychologist, neuropsychologist, and professor at the University of Queensland, Australia. She has an international reputation in geriatric mental health, particularly with her research on late-life anxiety disorders. Some additional research interests are nursing home interventions, use of assistance animals in later life, strategies for healthy ageing, and mental health policy and ageing.
Please see the summary of her talk in the flyer.
