WiseLearn (former: OldSchool) wins at the Versus-Virus Hackathon
Dr. Burcu Demiray wins both online Versus-Virus Hackathons in April and May 2020 with the WiseLearn project. The goal of the Versus-Virus Hackathon was to work together to develop solutions to the tackle Corona Crisis and its challenges. The idea of an e-learning platform for people 60+ emerged in light of the limitations of the Corona pandemic, but it is future-oriented in view of societal and demographic changes, as gerontological psychologist Dr. Burcu Demiray describes it.
